The City of Saint-Lazare has a lot to offer during the spring break. Its programming is varied. The city administration is taking the opportunity to unveil its full schedule of free activities.

Caravane des neiges: last chance to participate on February 27th  and 28th

The weekend before the school break, the Caravane des neiges sets the tone for a week of winter activities within the family bubble. Participants can take advantage of a loan of snow scooters, fat bikes or snowshoes. It will be possible to borrow equipment upon presentation of one’s citizen card. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on February 25th  for Saturday, February 27th  and at 8 a.m. on February 26th  for Sunday, February 28th . You can register online on the Ville de Saint-Lazare website or by phone at 450 424-8000, extension 220 (during opening hours). On the day of your reservation, it is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the reservation time. The rental is for a period of 50 minutes and subject to the availability of equipment, reservations on site will be possible upon presentation of the citizen’s card.

Seek and find … on a path

From March 1st  to 5th  2021, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare nature park team invites you to participate in a “seek and find” game. Without registration and open to the whole family, outdoor enthusiasts can have fun finding a series of hidden objects along the walking trail.

For the homebody or if sensitive to cold

Saint-Lazare has thought of citizens who wish to stay in the comfort of their home. Tuesday and Thursday, a one-hour yoga or line dancing session. The free session is open to all and accessible on the City’s Facebook page from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

For the handy or budding scientists

Free and by registration only, the workshops offered via Zoom in French and English will pique the curiosity of little DIY enthusiasts and scientists. From the introduction to the world of comics, through Origami, Kirigami, a DIY Monopoly game and science workshops, children and teenagers alike will find what they are looking for.

Educazoo’s workshop

Prepared for ages 6 to 13, Éducazoo offers an educational and fun workshop lasting 45 minutes upon registration and available through Zoom.

Family quiz in the evening

All family members are invited to participate in an interactive quiz lasting 90 minutes, requiring paper and pencils, to which you can register in advance (maximum 90 families and 1 registration per family) and participate for free on Monday (English) and Tuesday (French) via the Zoom platform.

Culinary workshop for apprentice chefs

On Friday, from 11 a.m. to noon, free of charge and without registration, Saint-Lazare offers a culinary workshop for cooking pizza and chocolate dessert on the City’s Facebook page.
