A success for the first outdoor concert in Saint-Anicet | VIVA MÉDIA Skip to main content

On August 15th , the Municipality of Saint-Anicet, in collaboration with the St-Anicet Optimist Club and the Cercle des loisirs de Cazaville, had the pleasure of offering its citizens two concerts by the conductor Alexandre Da Costa and the Longueuil Symphony Orchestra.

This first unifying summer event was a huge success. The first performance was sold out with 250 spectators. Also, note the presence of about fifteen boats which took advantage of the show directly on the lake.

The second performance on the grounds of the Cercle de loisirs de Cazaville welcomed 110 spectators. All hygienic measures have been observed for the health of all. The City of Saint-Anicet specifies that such an event cannot take place without the help of the invaluable volunteers of the St-Anicet Optimist Club and the Cercle des loisirs de Cazaville.

The success of this event testifies to the population’s interest in an active cultural life in Saint-Anicet. Great future collaborations are expected for the culture and leisure department of the municipality.
