The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion sets the tone for the Halloween festivities with a diverse program, including a weekend of activities at Le 405 park.
“This unifying and festive place was greatly appreciated throughout the summer, which makes it the perfect place for these celebrations. The City will also offer activities at the swimming pool, at the library and in the Baie de Vaudreuil which will begin on October 18th and which will appeal to the whole family”, announced the municipal authorities.
The summer destination of Le 405 park will be transformed this Halloween weekend, with new light shows and fall decorations. Halloween will take over Le 405 at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 30th , with events: walk-thru entertainment, a haunted house and a “photobooth”.
The bar area will be accessible from 6 p.m. for residents and from 7:30 p.m. for all, depending on availability. The duo “Lady Beats”, made up of the percussionist and co-host of the Belle et Bum show, Mélissa Lavergne, and DJ Abeille, an experienced DJ and former VJ for the Musiqueplus channel, will take to Le 405 stage from 8:30 p.m.. People are invited to dress up for the occasion!
“Following the summer success, it’s obvious that Le 405 will be a magical place for a Halloween weekend. This idea emerged several times in the recent survey on the activities offered at Le 405. In just a few months, this place has become a must-see destination in Vaudreuil-Dorion. Everything will be in place to ensure that visitors have an experience worthy of the most beautiful evenings of Halloween”, underlined the director of the Recreation and Culture Department Vincent Bastien.
Families residing in Vaudreuil-Dorion will be able to celebrate Halloween at the park on October 31st from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. They will enjoy the entertainment, the haunted house, a distribution of treats and a professional make-up service on site. The complete program can be found on the Town’s website, under Le 405.

This enigmatic course for all ages, with a mysterious and terrifying theme, will take place in the Baie de Vaudreuil, from Paul-Gérin-Lajoie park.
Alone, with family or friends, participants will have to solve various puzzles and will have to use the elements that are around them to complete the course of less than one kilometer.
On Saturday, October 30th , from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., families are invited to attend the Scary Little Beasts activity organized by Éducazoo.
