Free bicycles offered in Vaudreuil | VIVA MÉDIA Skip to main content

A real success last year, the Ma bicyclette gratuite event is back in full force from May 3rd  to 31st .

In collaboration with the MP for Vaudreuil, Marie-Claude Nichols, the organization le Zèbre Rouge will make 100 specially selected recycled bicycles with a height of 12 to 20 inch wheel, available to families in the riding of Vaudreuil. Note that the bicycles are offered free of charge.

To get a bicycle, people should contact the Zèbre Rouge team at 450 424-2422. When the family comes to the organization, they must present proof of residence from one of the following seven municipalities, L’Île-Cadieux, L’Île-Perrot, Pincourt, Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, Terrasse-Vaudreuil, Vaudreuil-Dorion and Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac.

Remember that the Zèbre Rouge offers a social integration and employment integration program serving to increase autonomy, skills and adaptation to the labor market to young adults with mental health problems with or without intellectual or physical limitations.

“The great success of the last Ma bicyclette gratuite edition was such that we decided to repeat the experience. This exceptional collaboration allows me to financially support one of our organizations, whose mission in mental health is close to my heart, while offering a little help to our budding athletes”, explains the MP for Vaudreuil, Marie-Claude Nichols.
