During the meeting of April 12th , the municipal council of Saint-Anicet adopted resolutions to start the Ecocenter project at the Garage municipal. The council takes an environmental turn. The agreement announced with AgriRÉCUP for the recovery of agricultural plastics addresses that.

During this same meeting, the council mandated Pierre Meilleur, Land Surveyor, to proceed with the preparation of a plan showing the areas for which authorizations from the CPTAQ were granted on lots 4,670,750 and 4,670,751. It is on these lots that the council wants to develop the Ecocentre project.

In the coming months, the council will be taking other directions regarding the realization of this Ecocenter project. “Our actions are in line with Quebec’s residual materials management policy, 2019-2024 action plan”, said Mayor Gino Moretti.

Sylvie Tourangeau, advisor, informed us last week, “this Ecocentre project was particularly close to my heart, I thank my colleagues for supporting me in this process”.
