The Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé, announces the appointment, by the Government of Quebec, of Philippe Gribeauval as President and CEO (CEO) of the Integrated Health and Social Services Center of Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO). Mr. Gribeauval will take office on August 9th , 2021 for a four-year term.

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in physiology and a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Montreal, Mr. Gribeauval has nearly 40 years of experience as a manager in several organizations, both in the public and private sectors.

Over the past five years, he has served as General Manager of Cégep Gérald-Godin. He previously held the position of director of educational services at Télé-Québec from 2013 to 2016 and vice-president of the public sector at CGI from 2009 to 2011. He also began his career in the health and social services network as Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department at Sainte-Justine Hospital in 1982.

“Mr. Gribeauval is an active manager, versatile and guided by human values. I am convinced that he will be able to show the necessary leadership to successfully meet the challenges that await him, in particular by continuing the work begun to ensure the maintenance of high quality services in the region. I would also like to thank Mrs. Lise Verreault who has taken on the interim over the past few months”, said Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé.

On the Cégep Gérald-Godin website, it is indicated that Philipe Gribeauval has accumulated several years of experience, both in North America and in Europe, as a senior executive in organizations in the public, parapublic and private sectors, notably as general manager of the Cégeps du Vieux-Montréal and Rosemont, where he created the Centre Collégial de formation à distance, known today as Cégep à distance, which brings together nearly 20,000 students.
