Centraide Sud-Ouest du Québec has administered a second round of investment of $ 270,685, provided by the Government of Canada in essential services for vulnerable people in our community to date.

On October 5th , Centraide SOQ launched a second appeal for applications for the Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF). This fund provides financial support to charities and other qualified donors who are adapting their frontline services to support vulnerable Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Government of Canada provided the remaining ECSF funds, administered in collaboration with United Way Centraide Canada, Community Foundations of Canada and the Canadian Red Cross.

Thus, Centraide SOQ has received more than 20 funding requests for programs and services that support vulnerable members of our communities. To date, 19 organizations have been approved for total funding of $ 270,685, including:

  • Centre communautaire multiservices Un coin chez nous
  • Centre d’action bénévole L’Actuel
  • Centre de français L’Insulaire
  • Coin Partage Beauharnois
  • D’Main de Femmes
  • Grand Rassemblement des aînées de Vaudreuil et Soulanges (G.R.A.V.E.S.)
  • Maison d’hébergement dépannage de Valleyfield
  • Maison Jeunesse 12-17 de Valleyfield
  • Maison des enfants Marie-Rose
  • Moisson Sud-Ouest
  • Vaudreuil-Soulanges RCM for Centre Prénatal et jeunes familles de Vaudreuil
  • Organisme Voué aux Personnes Atteintes de Cancer (OVPAC)
  • Popote Roulante de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield
  • AHT Rescue
  • Service Alimentaire Communautaire (S.A.C.)
  • Tel-Aide Région du Suroît
