Let’s remember those soldiers who died in battle | VIVA MÉDIA Skip to main content

During World War II, more than 1,159,000 Canadians and Newfoundlanders served. Of that number, 44,900 have lost their lives on the battlefield.

Several men from this region enlisted in the Canadian Militia between 1939 and 1945. On this Remembrance Day, the Viva-Media team wishes to pay tribute to the soldiers who died during this period. Note that this list may be incomplete. We apologize if a member of your family is not listed.
