Following the success of Rallyes ExploreVS which took place this summer, Développement Vaudreuil-Soulanges (DEV) is proposing a whole new concept in order to respect the health measures in force.
Indeed, the Rallyes ExploreVS will move to the Web this fall. These will take place on Sunday, November 8th and 15th ! Thus, in the safety and comfort of their home, participants will virtually discover the attractions of Vaudreuil-Soulanges thanks to a fun questionnaire.
The five rallies from Rallyes ExporeVS from this summer drew nearly 1,000 participants. Being very popular, DEV has adapted the concept to the health measures and to showcase businesses in the region.
Saveurs et Flocons
For the new edition, the features from activities offered during the winter season are in the spotlight. This is in the hopes of inspiring participants to plan a getaway, when permitted, in Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
“In addition, we will introduce agro-tourism businesses since delicious local products will be offered as participation prizes to all the teams who will participate in the game, says Angélique L’Écuyer, Tourism Commissioner. Something to comfort each other at the start of the cold season and even give gift ideas in anticipation of the holiday season! ”
DEV has entrusted the mandate of developing the rallies from Rallyes ExploreVS to Dominic Larivée, from Le Groupe SDL Inc. who is taking over his role of
race director. This one will also animate the starts of the rallies from Rallyes ExploreVS which will take place on the Zoom platform. A live question period will prepare participants for the rest of their experience.
Four hours will be allocated to complete the questionnaire. To get there, participants will have to find the answers by browsing the Vaudreuil-Soulanges regional tourist site, exploreVS.com, the websites of attractions or municipalities, as well as their Facebook or Instagram pages. Participants will need to be precise in order to get as many correct answers as possible for a chance to win the grand prize.
The grand prize is an all-inclusive package for four people for a stay in Vaudreuil-Soulanges which includes an activity, a dinner and an overnight stay. It will be drawn among the teams with the most points.

The cost per registration is only $ 25 and includes participation for all members of a household in addition to a gift bag, made up of several local products and discounts on activities to do this winter, which will be delivered directly at your home.
