Christmas, as every year, goes hand in hand with the arrival of the food drives. However, given the current context, these unifying events will take a different platform. How will the food drive take place in your municipality? We invite you to consult the attached list in order to prepare yourself to be generous, again this year, towards those who go through more difficult times and who encounter financial insecurity.

Saint-Étienne-de-Beauharnois

Citizens are invited to bring cash or cheques to: Dépanneur de Saint-Étienne de Beauharnois and at the library/post office in Saint-Étienne. Until November 27th .

Saint-Stanislas-de-Kosta

Citizens can bring non-perishable food, from November to December, at the town hall. The food will be delivered to La Bouffe Additionnelle in Huntingdon around December 10th , 2020

Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague

Firefighters and volunteers will roam the streets and country roads of the municipality on December 13th , starting at 1 p.m. They will go door to door without knocking. Food must be placed out on the balconies in advance and identified with the name of the food drive.

Donors are requested to arrive on November 29th  from 8 a.m. to noon at one of the collection points. Sainte-Martine

“During this period of pandemic, we will not be able, like every year, to visit your homes to collect your non-perishable food and your financial donations. However, we still have to make sure that our beneficiaries can have a great Christmas. This is why, this year we ask you to send us your donations online via the Municipalité de Sainte-Martine website, by cheque in the name of the Guignolée de Sainte-Martine at 2, rue des Pignons or in cash at the Actions familles room, at 122, rue Saint-Joseph, suite 1, from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Before December 23rd . We will really need your generosity to donate Christmas baskets and to enable us to respond to emergencies throughout the year. Thank you once again”, says Richard Bergevin, president of the Guignolée Sainte-Martine Committee.
